About Us

Realtime Arts is a youth organisation dedicated to inspiring and engaging young people who need it most. Since its inception in 2004 the organisation has built a reputation for delivering inspirational projects that unleash creativity and expand young minds. Realtime Arts has had over five thousand participants take part in exciting and innovative projects from immersive 3D sound installations to interactive fashion exhibitions and live performances. Realtime Arts mission is to enable young people to create, produce, perform, and exhibit their work and showcase their talent to the full.

Young people are at the heart of Realtime Arts work, devising and shaping projects, leading our mentoring and volunteer scheme, and helping deliver workshops in everything from studio music to street dance and fashion. Realtime Arts has an impeccable record of engaging young people in the arts, from Adventures in Sound our three-year interactive sound and music project working with over 300 young people with special educational needs in West London, to Wavelength a project dedicated to enabling 16-21 year olds reach their full potential.

“Having worked closely with tutors during the music sessions, I witnessed the pupils thoroughly enjoying the process. Not only did it enrich their experience at Latimer but it also encouraged them to explore issues that they may not have been able to express otherwise. Tutors built a rapport with pupils and were extremely good at gauging how to broach very sensitive subjects with respect and also offered, a level of autonomy so pupils ultimately made decisions regarding their work.
